Hard statistics aren't readily available, but we're willing to wager more than a few ankles were turned and fingers wagged to the point of repetitive stress injury when thousands of Beyoncé fans attempted to learn the choreography to her now-iconic "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" video.
Beyoncé is well aware of her power to make people dance like fools -- she included a montage of the best and most horrifying "Single Ladies"-alikes during her I Am... Tour two years ago -- and now she's teaming up with First Lady Michelle Obama on a health initiative aimed at getting kids healthy via dance.
Beyoncé isn't just slapping her name on a PSA, though. She actually rerecorded her hand-clap schoolyard-chant track "Get Me Bodied" with new lyrics as "Move Your Body" and put some gritty oomph into her vocals -- this was not a phoned in effort in the slightest (we guess when Michelle Obama calls, you answer, and move your body).
The singer appears in a video proclaiming Obama's campaign is "all about promoting the benefits of healthy eating and exercise," adding, "But what we want to do is make it fun, and that's by doing something we all love to do, which is dance."
Get a load of B shaking it with some middle schoolers up top, and check out the relatively easy choreography her team worked up for "Move Your Body." Try to spot the dance coach. Hint: It's not that hard.
