The trouble with Thor, the warrior-prince of Asgard, is that he does all his thinking with his hammer. When Thor's carelessness plunges Asgard into war, his father banishes him to a dull wasteland: Earth. Thor is stripped of his powers until he can prove himself worthy. Meanwhile, a malevolent force wants Thor out of the picture completely, even if it means destroying Earth in the process.
