Sam Witwicky, friend to the Autobots, is taking a break from saving the world to struggle with the day-to-day challenges of finding work and love. But once again his life is turned into chaos by the malevolent Decepticons. A Cybertronian spacecraft has been sighted on the moon, and if the Decepticons find it first, they will almost certainly triumph in the Transformers' ultimate battle. Their evil schemes draw them to Chicago, endangering Sam's girlfriend and forcing him to save the day once again.

Bet You Didn't Know

In a chaotic spectacle worthy of their robotic cousins, two ordinary non-transforming cars crashed into one another on the set of the film. A real-life police SUV rushing to deal with a bomb threat careened into the filming area and totaled the Camaro that plays the role of Bumblebee. Luckily they had an "understudy" ready to replace the deceased Chevy.
